McKenzie Owen, 10th grade and Carson Demberger, 9th grade, prepare costumes for “The Little Mermaid.”

The anticipated spring musical, The Little Mermaid, has finally docked at Osceola Fundamental. Show dates are April 21st-23rd starting at 7 pm, with an additional 1:00pm matinee show on the 23rd.

Tickets for students and seniors are $8 and for adults $12. Before you get hooked on the musical, make sure to tackle a bite at the food trucks. The food trucks will be available two hours before the show.
“This is the first year we teamed up with FBLA and have food trucks for our show. So the musical will be the second time. The food trucks were here for Radium Girls in the fall and they’re here for The Little Mermaid.” said Jade Pashoian, junior, who plays “Flounder” in the musical.

There will be different lineups each night ranging from Italian to Greek food, to burgers and also frozen treats like ice cream. “My favorite food truck was here during Radium Girls, it’s called Pasta Bowl. The Alfredo pasta was amazing.” Jade exclaimed.
Lauren Callahan, sophomore, is excited for the food trucks. “When Radium Girls had the food truck rally, my favorite was the ice cream place,” Lauren said, “the food trucks were really affordable, even for me.” she added, “The theatre department is awesome. I believe it’s going to be a really good show. A lot of people I know are going to perform in The Little Mermaid.”
The prices of the food range from $3 to $15 due to the variety of cuisines. However, if you want to take a picture with the cast before the show, “We don’t do meet and greets til after, but you will see some of us getting food,” Jade added. Food trucks will disembark during intermission of The Little Mermaid.
