You know it’s almost Spring Break when..

Satire

On Friday, hysterical students and teachers will be rushing home to escape the prison otherwise known as Osceola High School. The buses will be churning out of the bus circle, filled with psychotic students who are absolutely desperate to leave their paperwork and cramped hands behind to go to the beach and party and whatever. Teachers will breathe a sigh of relief to be away from some of their demonic students, and put off grading papers until 2 days before we get back to school, enjoying reruns of the Big Bang Theory and watching Leonardo DiCaprio movies (who, according to another one of our articles, cannot ever win an Oscar).

In light of all this, we asked students and teachers to complete this sentence: You know it’s almost Spring Break when…

“When the school says it,” Sophomore Bobby Stafford answered.

2 juniors, Jeffrey Hartog and Alex McGruder, replied “When its sunny and 75 degrees,” and “When pollen falls out of the trees.”

“When you forget your lunch and have to have your husband bring it to you,” was Mrs. Salmon’s response to the question.

The last, and possibly the funniest response was from Mrs. DeVine, who said “Because I’m ready to bang my head against the wall. Oh, and pollen.”
