There are many great clubs offered at Osceola Fundamental High School. With so many options, some of the smaller clubs get overlooked. However, this does not make them any less important. An example of a club that is often overlooked is FFEA. FFEA, Florida Future Educators of America, is a club that looks out for others.

“FFEA does many wonderful things for kids in need,” said Ms. Powers, the sponsor of the club. According to Powers, this club does many things for much for children and even mothers in need. There are often projects and fundraisers going on and donations being raised and made.

“I am so proud and happy to be able to lead this wonderful club,” stated senior Saba Torabi, president of the Florida Future Educators of America club. Saba was Vice President for the club her 11th grade year and was honored to take over the responsibility of President her last year at Osceola.

When asked if she had ever heard of the club, 10th grade Madii Dominger shared that she had not. “No, I’ve never even heard of that club,” she states. “But it sounds like a really interesting and cool club to be a part of.” Many of the students here at Osceola are not aware that this small, yet amazing club even exists. “That sounds like a great club,” 9th grade Devin Myers states. “I’ve never even heard of it but it sounds really nice. Helping children is helping the future.”

From just one class of students in all four grades, it appears that many students have no idea that Osceola offers clubs such as Florida Future Educators of America.
