The exam exemption sheets require students to get every teachers’ signature and to have them write how many absences, tardies, and what the students grades were for semester. Ashley Swain, 10th grade, said, “I always get really stressed out when I try and get my exemption sheet signed. Sometimes teachers aren’t there or they are not signing the sheet that day and it makes me nervous. But I think that the exams are more stressful because they determine my grade.
Nicole Nesto thinks the opposite. “I think that getting the exam exemption from signed is much more stressful because if I don’t get it signed I would have to take all of my exams instead of only 4 which would require more studying and stress.”
