It’s official.  Students will attend school online for the rest of the school year.

So how are students feeling about doing their day-to-day lives all on a computer? Do they like doing online school better than traditional school?

Madeline Mautz, 9th grade, said, “I like online school better than typical school because it allows students to have a more relaxed schedule while still getting work done. I also like that you can work at your own pace.”

Online school is giving students more time with their families; however, students and teachers are having to learn how to work using an online platform. Rozlynn McNally, 9th grade, said, “I don’t like online school as much because I can’t see my friends and it’s hard for me to focus when doing online school.”

Nolan Fitzpatrick, 9th grade, said, “I overall prefer online school; it’s really nice because it’s letting me focus better in silence and in the comfort of my own home.”

Online school has been a big transition for students, teachers, and parents and has been a struggle but also a success.
