Warriors dive into trip to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium
April 17, 2023
Earlier in the week, on the 11th and 12th, students in Ms. Copello’s marine science class traveled to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium for an informative trip. The first day included a lesson about how the marine biologists research dolphins in the surrounding areas. The second day went through the life of a resident rescuer, even getting to do a mock rescue of a dolphin. Both days included a guided tour around the aquarium. Drake Saltarelli, 11th grade, said, “I think the aquarium was an amazing experience, and I thought that the guide showed us around really well. The aquarium was a lot larger then when I had gone when I was younger, so it was a nice surprise.”

Another student that went on the trip said, “I loved it so much! It was so fun learning about the dolphins, because I never realized that that was how they identified the dolphins out in the ocean.”
