Millovich molds micaeolus

Mr. Millovich makes pottery for a living; he’s constantly traveling but still makes time to demonstrate his work. He visits Osceola every couple of weeks, he also teaches classes at local galleries. This year was his first year teaching a high school class. The type of clay he uses is micaceolus clay, and he digs and prepares his own clay from New Mexico.

Jackie Couchene, 10th grade, said, “I enjoy the history behind the micaceous clay, also I like how the clay is made from all organic materials and how it preforms/looks.”
