Enrique Hernaiz gets ready to enjoy summer traveling.

There are four weeks left of the school year and summer is just around the corner. For many students, vacation is the only thing on their mind. So what are people anticipating over break? David Hernandez Perez, 10th grade, said, “Getting a tan is the thing I look forward to the most.”
Some Warriors plan on relaxing and playing some video games over summer break. Austin D., 10th grade, said, “I plan on buying a PS4 over summer and getting some cool games for it.” But other students have larger plans of travel and adventure.
Steven Thompson, 12th grade, said, “The thing I look forward to the most over summer is hiking the Appalachian Trail in Georgia and going to church camp for the last time.”
Chase Lopez, 9th grade, is planning on doing some sightseeing. He said, “I am probably going to Washington D.C. and then to Baltimore to see baseball games.” Danielle, 9th grade, is also headed up north. He said, “I am going to visit my numerous cousins in New York.”
Two freshmen are visiting abroad. Katerina Koulouvaris, 9th grade, said, “I look forward to going on a trip around Europe with my friends.”
Enrique Hernaiz, 9th grade, said, “I am going to go to Germany with my family.”
Many teens just can’t wait to relax and be out of school. Branden Hoffman, 9th grade, said, “I am looking forward to some free time and taking a break from school and try to find a part time job.” He is not alone. Alyssa, 10th grade, said, “I am planning on going to Kentucky over break, to intern in a vet office.”
Lots of people just plan on turning off their alarms. Amanda Johnson, grade 10, said, “I plan on having no school and sleeping.”
