Repetitive dates can symbolize many different meanings.  Unwed couples view it as a “lucky” day to get married, bringing them happiness, creativity and new experiences.  Another theory is that it’s a “doomsday.” Many doomsayers believe that this date, 12-12-12, heralds the end of the world. Others believe the actual day is 12-21-12. “Well, I don’t believe the world’s going to end; it already would have,” commented Chris Folsom, 12^th grade. Saba Torabi, 10^th grade, commented, “I highly doubt the world’s going to end. The Mayans didn’t count leap years, so we would have died already.”
