Last week Mrs. Colton’s AP World History classes had a formal debate on the Tang and Song dynasties.  The class was separated into teams, which were the Tang, Song, and judges. Both AP classes had to dress in formal attire which excluded jeans.  The debate covered which dynasty was better, the Tang or the Song, arguments and rebuttals, and last words and opening and closing statements.  The winner of the debate was chosen by the judges.  In 4^th period, the Song dynasty won, and in 5^th period, the Tang dynasty won.
