“The ninth grade list is always the longest. I still need to take 11 more kids in from this list.” Mrs. Kelly explained. “I’ve taken in nine already.” Osceola High School takes in new faces from the lottery every year for the beginning of the second semester. “We’ve brought in nine new tenth graders- and that’s all we’re going to bring.” Mrs. Kelly went on, “Also six new eleventh graders, which finishes their list.” The current line to get into Osceola as a freshman is 139 students long.
