New AP learns the ropes

Walking through the halls, you may see new faces. One of those faces would be Ms. Mowatt, the new assistant principal. The Florida native is ready to help lead Osceola High School as the new Assistant Prinicpal.

Even though Ms. Mowatt graduated from Largo High School, she is excited to see what in is in store for at Osceola this year. “The students are very respectful and seem to enjoy being here.”  Ms. Mowatt’s first impression of the school is very favorable.  She has many plans for this year. “I want to continue to increase students’ scores and to increase student engagement.”

Ms. Mowatt went to college at University of South Florida, at both the Tampa and St. Pete campus, and she got a Masters degree at St. Pete.  “I enjoy working with teachers and students, and being in a school.” This is the reason she decided to be an assistant principal. This also the reason she wants to become a principal.
