Valedictorian and Salutatorian
On Friday, March 14th, parents and administrators waited anxiously in Mr. Bohnet’s conference room for the arrival of this year’s valedictorian and salutatorian. At 9:30 a.m., Christina Tournant found out she is the class of 2014’s valedictorian and Megan Johnson found out she is the salutatorian. They were surprised to see blue and orange balloons floating everywhere, a decorated cake, family and friends. As they both entered with shocked looks on their faces, they each gave a short speech reflecting on their work in the past and what motivated through the many years of hard work and dedication.
Christina Tournant concluded her speech with “All my hard work has paid off.” Megan Johnson said, “I was really surprised; I didn’t expect being in this position.”
