Student art picked for museum show
Artwork created by several Warriors will be on display at the Museum of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg April 5-27.
The theme of the project in Mrs. Wallen’s class was “Visual Metaphors.”
Mrs. Wallen recently received the news that three students’ pieces won the honor to be on display.
Megan Devine’s piece called, “The Mind is a Tree with Many Leaves; We Just Need to Search for Them,” Emily Harris’ “Knowledge is Power,” and Mackenzie Morgan’s “On the Wings of a Dream” are all included.
This project was helped along by Mrs. Iovino’s English 1 Honors students, who came up with some of the metaphors used by the art students.
