Recently there has been construction going on by the portables’ hallway. Plant Operator Richard stated that “they’re putting the turf down here. It’s for a student that is in a wheelchair to go out and about easier.”  Richard explained that there have been lots of projects going on. The rose garden, for example, is currently being completely redone in terms of the flooring of the pavilion. Another project of the plant operators is laying down mulch near the portables so students stay safe walking down the hill. “The mulch washes away, but we do the best we can,” said Richard. Although the hallway was closed yesterday for a while for this construction to take place, it is now open up for students to use.
