The Speech and Debate Team had their National Qualifying tournament last weekend on Friday and Saturday at Northeast High School. The CFL nationals will be held in Chicago June 16-21, 2024. Eight students from Osceola competed and six of them either qualified or were the alternate for nationals. Victorya Santos says her speech is “a play called ‘Dear John’. It’s about two girls getting ready for Homecoming and getting trapped in the bathroom”. Victorya and her partner Emma Perez are on their way to nationals. Victorya said, “I’m not nervous. I think me and my partner have worked very hard”.
