Osceola looks for new girls varsity soccer coach

A new season means a new coach for the Osceola varsity Lady Warriors soccer team. The team is one of the best in the district. They went to states last year, but the coach from last season, Coach Popovich, retired. Popovich was the coach for the team for years, and definitely had an impact on the school’s enthusiasm towards the sport.

The girls looked forward to the big competition games every week. The search for a new varsity soccer coach, for Osceola Fundamental High school is on, according to Mr. Pile, JV girls soccer coach.
Coach Pile is very excited about the new season and the new coach. “As far as I’m concerned, they are still on the search for a new coach,” said Mr. Pile.
“I liked working with Popovich; he was a real friend.”

Pile is hoping for a compatible partner.  “I’m hoping the new coach for varsity will work more closely with the Junior varsity team.”
He also said that OFHS is looking for a coach that will carry on the Warrior pride just like Popovich did.
“We are definitely going to find a new coach, and I can’t wait to meet him or her,” Pile said.
The coach must have the proper licenses and registration. Mr. Pile said, “If there are any girls who play club soccer, please tell your coaches and your assistant coaches that we are looking for a new coach to continue our Warrior pride.”
