Spring sports coming to an end

The+flag+football+team+defeated+Northeast+High+School+at+home+on+February+21st.
The flag football team defeated Northeast High School at home on February 21st.

Spring sports at Osceola are starting to come to an end, and PCACs are coming up. Ms. Copello presented an update on the spring sports:

Tennis: The boys tennis team won against St. Pete, keeping their record of 14-0. They will be attending PCAC, representing the South. The girls team lost to St. Pete, but their record is still strong at 11-3.

Lacrosse: The girls lacrosse team defeated Largo 19-2. Their record is currently at 2-7. The boys’ lacrosse team was defeated by Shipley (4-15), but defeated Calvary (7-6). Their overall record is currently 6-4. They will travel to Palm Harbor to play for PCAC championships.

Track: The Ed Wells meet ended early due to bad weather, however, both the girls’ and boys’ teams won first place.

Baseball: The baseball team defeated Hollins 13-8, and their current record is 9-4. They will compete against Northeast, Franklin County, and Zephyrhills this week.

Softball: The softball team defeated Pinellas Park 10-0 and Seminole 13-0. Their record is currently 9-6. They will be celebrating Senior Night at the Lakewood game.

JV and Varsity Flag Football: Both JV and varsity flag football remain undefeated this season. Varsity defeated Boca Ciega with 25-6 Tarpon Springs with 14-0. JV defeated Boca Ciega in a close game with 20-19 and Tarpon Springs with 25-6
