The Osceola Fundamental High School website has a new look. The homepage has been redesigned with new graphics and easy to read notifications for links to school news and upcoming events. Mrs. Thompson, computer teacher, explained that “the county mandated the switch to a standardized template by a company called Schoolwires, Inc.”

Mrs. Thompson though did have direct involvement in the rest of the redesign. She said, “I provided the colors and logo and now am in charge of content management.” The whole redesign was officially finished and implemented on February 27, 2015. Mrs. Thompson has already received feedback from students about their reaction to the new look of the website.

“Everyone who wrote back said that they really like the professionalism and that it is easy to navigate,” she said. “It was a collaborative effort working with the teachers to gather all the information from the teachers and staff.” Students have seen the revamped website and some are really pleased with how it looks. John Stubbins, 12th grade, likes the new website because “it looks brand new.” He also said that the website is “much better than the original.”

Chris Stockdale, 11th grade, said almost the same thing. “It looks very fresh,” he said. “It looks a lot better. The layout is very fresh.” T’nora Dessaw, 11th grade, said she liked the new website because of “the colors and the new picture slideshow.”
