Why wait 5 years?
The technology problem is a crisis. We are 5 years behind in putting better Wi-Fi in our schools, and I feel like we should be more on top of things because it would help a lot of kids.
The Wi-Fi crisis is important, and our superintendent and other companies are here to better the issues so we don’t have to deal with Wi-Fi crashes. The only issue about this program is that it’s going to cost a lot of money and time. The cost will be $1.1 million, to be exact, and about 5 years just to go digital. But in the end, this will be worth it because it’s for the children and the students.
Since I am a senior, I have dealt with many Wi-Fi problems. When I was writing a research paper in the library, I was looking things up and the servers were down. I was checking my class assignments to see what I missed, and the Wi-Fi went down yet again. If they fixed this issue, it will help a lot because there will be fewer problems with Wi-Fi and students can get their work done when they’re at school. Also, this is something for the teachers as well. I was sitting in class the other day and my teacher couldn’t print off his notes of his pages because of the school severs and he became a day behind.
This plan is not just for us but everyone. The Wi-Fi issue in schools needs to be fixed because it will help immensely and I’m glad our superintendent and other companies are stepping forward to help.
