Programming team refuels before their first competition of the year.

Yesterday afternoon, two teams from Osceola participated in the first competition of the Florida High School Programming Series of the year. The top team of Sam Rankin, Dominic Iovino, and Maleah Jamieson finished in 8th place out of the 54 teams competing. For the second team, Krystyn Wikoff and Max Richard, this was their first competition, and “they did very well in their first competition against some strong, experienced teams,” according to Mr. Mattheus, team sponsor. The next programming competition will be held November 13th and the first Cyber Security competition will be October 27th. If any student is interested in participating, see Jack Mattheus in room 110.
