Students speak out about Spring Break

With February ending, and March right around the corner, less than three weeks remain until spring break. Spring break starts on Saturday, March 14th and comes to a close on Tuesday, March 24th. While students are bearing down and trying to maintain good grades to finish out the semester, some students already have a plan of what they are doing during spring break and some don’t.

According to local10.com, some things that bored students could do during spring break include “shop till you drop, find the best local restaurants, and go to any sport games.” The article also said, “Shopping may not be the best way to save money on your spring break trip, but it would almost be criminal if you didn’t take a peek at the local beach stores or funky art galleries in the area.”

What are students planning to do over spring break? Faith, 9th grade, said, “Since the break is not that long and me and my family are not going to travel, I will be going to Universal with my friend. I’m really just going to have a relaxing break and spend time with my friends.”

Shane, 12th grade, said, “I’m going to just chill honestly. I will be going to the beach with all my friends, and just enjoying the break while it lasts. Some time during the week I will be staying a couple of nights in a hotel with a bunch of my friends.  I’m just going to invite people over to hang.”
