In honor of Shakespeare’s birthday on April 23rd, the National English Honor Society members and Dr. Herzhauser organized a festival. It took place in the center courtyard of the school on April 21st. Students who came to the festival enjoyed jousting, a wheel of fortune, insult buttons, and calligraphy. The Shakespeare festival was used as a way to honor and appreciate a man who influenced literature through plays and sonnets that he wrote.
