Students prepare for picture day changes

This year’s picture day for grades 9-11 has been changed to the 29th of September.  As yearbook adviser Mrs. Iovino explained, “We pushed the date back to make sure we get pictures of all students”.  This is also due to the 160 plus seniors that have not gotten their senior portraits and “are at risk,” as Mrs. Iovino puts it, to not be featured in this year’s yearbook. Senior Alyssa Stefanski explained, “I have gotten my senior portraits taken, but my friends have not and I’m glad they still have a chance to make it.”

Seniors had their picture day September 7th in the auditorium. Freshmen through juniors will be on the 29th of September. Some students also do not have an English class, creating a problem with getting all students pictured in the yearbook. The teachers with the students without an English class will have to now release the students during class to be able to take a picture.
