Seniors can win prizes by using their creativity with chalk. The school has created a contest that has students creating chalk designs in their driveway or parking spot, in replace of painting the curb of their school parking spot.  Even MyPCS students can participate by emailing in a picture.

Here’s the inspiration! 

“It’s August before your senior year. And school is starting soon. In this fantasy of what you thought your senior year would be like, everyone has a parking space at school. And you get to decorate it however you want.

Unfortunately, it is 2020-2021. Nothing is as you imagined it would be. But we want to try and create a little of the senior traditions. We are asking you to use chalk to create your dream parking space. We want you to have fun. Celebrate the Class of 2021.”

The rules are as follows:

1. You may only use chalk.
2. Use your imagination.
3. Keep it decent and respectful.
4. Use your driveway, street parking, apartment parking space- wherever you park or would park your vehicle.

 Prizes are as follows:

1. This is Me
2. Most creative
3. What I care about in 2021

First, second, and third prizes are offered for each category.  

The artwork is due Friday, March 5th. Take a few pictures with your phone and email it to [email protected] . Include your name and what category you are entering your parking space in. You can enter multiple categories.
