Tropical Storm Idalia is projected to hit land as a category 3 hurricane as of 8 a.m. Monday, August 28th. Bay News 9 is saying the storm is estimated to hit Florida Tuesday night to Wednesday morning. Plant operator Mr. Bellair said that the storm preparations will continue tomorrow. Some preparations he mentioned were putting sandbags outside by the portables, cleaning things up, and bringing trash cans inside.
