On this day, September 22, 2015, during first lunch, students saw two wild kittens in a tree. A couple of students were able to catch one of the kittens and get it inside safely. However, the other kitten became scared and ran into the hole of the tree. Principal Mr. Bohnet was able to get the kitten out of the tree and gave it to head plant operator Mr. Sprecher. Mr. Sprecher gave the kitten to a cafeteria employee. The cat was named Toby.
