This year the tradition of having graduation at the Tropicana Field is back!

With the last graduation not being held at the Tropicana Field as it was roofless, the graduation itself will be held at the Tropicana Field once again for this year’s graduation. This year’s graduation will be held at Tropicana Field at 6:00pm on May 23rd. Not only is it back, but it also came with a twist. Instead of being in the morning, the ceremony is scheduled for the afternoon, and students have their opinions on this news.

‘’I would rather have the time at 10 a.m. rather than 6:15 p.m.”, said by senior Cameron Frankoski, expressing that the time change is not in his favor. While Noelle Barthel said, “Well, I’m glad that it’s at the Tropicana Field and that it’s all fixed now. I liked the place at Clearwater, but I prefer and am happy it is at Tropicana, and about the time change I do not mind the time being at 6. Now, it won’t be hot with the bright sunrise.”

Another senior, Abby Stevens, is pleased with Tropicana Field being back in action to make seniors complete their high school journey. “It’s going to be so late; I’m going to be too tired and fall asleep and fall flat on my face. Although if it was early, I’d be tired and fall flat on my face anyways, so I guess it doesn’t matter what time it’s at. ”
