How much would you be willing to pay for a soda? Here at Osceola, students often go to the vending machines for a quick, convenient snack. However, when you look at the price for a carbonated beverage or snack, you might be shocked. A single-serving bottle of sparkling ice will cost you one dollar at Walmart, while the vending machine price is three dollars—triple the retail price. Perhaps it’s a call for a boycott, as these convenient snacks become less budget-friendly for students.Â
