Last Thursday, January 23rd, the boys varsity team took the win at the Pinellas County Athletic Conference against their rival, the Seminole Warhawks. This is the second year in a row that the boys won.

Wes D’Angio, 9th grade, said, “We worked together well as a team, and although I didn’t get much playing time, we did good and I am proud of our win.” The boys lost their game against Keswick Christian last Friday.

They play again on Friday against a team to be announced. This game is also part of the 2020 Boys Soccer District Championship tournaments.

Josh Pursley, 9th grade, said, “I’m looking forward to playing in my first high school districts game as a freshman. Playing on the team has been an awesome opportunity and a good time with new friends.”

Seminole High School keeps their place as #1 in districts, with Osceola right behind them as #2. OFHS’s overall stats are 13 wins, 5 losses, and the game ended in a tie 3 times. They’ve won both district games that they have played so far. In Florida they rank 95, putting them at 349 in the national ranking.
