The Osceola boys basketball program was cut short this season due to complications with COVID-19 cases. According to the Pinellas County Schools website, multiple Osceola players tested positive for COVID-19.

Dominik Muscolina, player for the team, said, “I can speak for the team, and say that it is disappointing at the least to not be able to finish the season.”

Dominik also said, “The team this season was very well rounded and worked well together.” The teams were preforming well as a whole before they were shut down. Dominik said, “Because of these COVID-19 cases, the team had around 3 or 4 games cancelled.”

Dominik said that the team worked extremely hard this year to get do so well, and it’s very unfortunate that they couldn’t play their last games of their season together. Dominik said, “I believe that the team will be back even better next year and  I can’t wait for next year’s season.”
