The Osceola Warriors varsity girls and boys soccer teams both had great seasons that have just come to an end. Kelli Slater, a player for the girls varsity soccer team, said,

“Our team went all the way to the regional finals.

The girls soccer team hasn’t done this in years according to Kelli. Kelli said, “We lost 2-1 against North Fort Myers High School in the regional finals.”

Josh Pursley, player for the Warriors boys varsity soccer team, said, “Our team also made it to the regional finals but lost 3-1 in an away game against Lely High school in Naples.”

Kelli said, “Our team ended the season with a record of  14-6-1” and Josh said, “Our record for the season was 19-4-1”.

The boys team won in the PCAC and district finals this year, and the girls won in the district finals. With the regional final games being so close in score, both Kelli and Josh are upset that their team lost but are excited to go out and play again next year.
