Picture day ’23 was a flashing success.

The process of getting a student picture taken at Osceola began with arriving, receiving a ticket, and making your way to the photographers. This year, students lined up along the stage railing and proceeded to stand on the floor markers when it was their turn to be photographed. While waiting in line, one 10th grader said, “Before taking my picture, I feel nervous that it won’t end up looking good.” The fear was shared by multiple other students, some students even tended to ask the photographer to see the photo that they took. Afterward, students were led by working warriors to the back of the auditorium to wait for their whole class to complete the process. Bryce Brooks, 10th grade, said, “I definitely blinked” soon after Kelsey Watson, 11th grade, said, “I feel like I blinked”. Blinking during a picture is a worry shared by many students after taking their photo. In a few weeks, they should see their photo so they can decide whether to retake it on November 8th.
