Margaret Hynes

Margaret Hynes, Writer

Margaret Hynes is currently a junior at OHS and is also in her second year of journalism. Margaret delights in constructing stories, and hopes to become a published freelance author in the future. She relishes in chilly winter-like afternoons, so she is preparing to soon pack her bags and move to North Carolina to attend either the University of North Carolina or Duke University to earn a degree in English. Margaret also loves writing music, singing, and playing guitar; she enjoys intertwining her compositions with natural elements which is why she performs alfresco in downtown St. Petersburg. Along with an abnormal obsession with drinking iced coffee and chewing minty gum, she is captivated by plants and animals and plans to put to use these passions in her future by starting a small animal and/or plant business. Margaret is ecstatic to begin writing this year for the OHS Newspaper team!
